Will Garden Statues make the Neighbors Jealous?

Gardens are one of the most serene places to be in a back yard. garden statuesYou have the ability to create a small paradise with garden statues and other lawn ornaments like garden gnomes and what looks better than a garden arch you have to pass under all covered with roses or some other sweet smelling flower in bloom.

Cherubs and other angelic beings make your garden a wonderland, and if you have a gazebo, you have a wonderful place to relax and unwind from the busy day. A garden statue that has always caught attention is the statue of Angelo de Ezio with his angel’s wings spread ready to fly or sitting on a pedestal looking down and contemplating. I have seen many different poses and colors for his likeness.

Garden arches also have a multitude of styles ranging from wood lattice to wrought iron. They do rather nicely for a climbing plant or rose bush, and when you have blooms of beautiful color, it enhances the air and is a delight to the eyes as you pass underneath. You can spend as little as forty dollars and purchase a really nice looking one from a handyman store. Be prepared though, it may take a few seasons to really be covered in your vine plants. One very good, fast climbing plant that smells very nice is Jasmine. You will be able to cover your garden arch in a matter of months if you put a couple of these plants right next to the base of the arch.

When deciding on how you are going to make your garden a wonderland, a garden statue well placed, holding up a birdbath or a lamp is a great addition and can really show off your true style, taste and demeanor you want to convey to those who would venture into your paradise.

The people who create garden gnomes have some new ideas that have become popular lately, namely ones that look like they are climbing the fence or up the tree. Seemingly hanging on by a threaded rope disappearing into a knot in the fence is one of my current favorites. The expressions these artists give these garden statues is full of emotion that shows them gritting their teeth in a struggle to hang on or get up the rope. You almost feel for these garden gnomes toiling around in your garden. I even gave mine a name.
