When it comes to garden decor, there are some things like garden lights and a garden gazebo that make an incredible difference in the way your lawn or garden looks during the day as well as at night. Gazebos are the kind of upgrade that can change the look of your surroundings and when adorned with garden lights it changes the mood and security when it comes time to venture out into your yard at night.

There are many different styles of garden lights available to choose from and they range in price from around fifteen dollars each to very expensive, depending on the look you want. They also are kept glowing in a couple of different ways. If you like to go green, there are rechargeable types that use the sun to recharge batteries during the day and then they last for four to six hours after dark the batteries need to be changed out once in a while so you have a small expense around once every couple of years. You also need to make sure these types of lights are placed so they get full sunlight or else they will not charge and will stop working. Another thing you have to be careful of is making sure the lens is clean. The other type of lights use low voltage wires that have to be connected to your normal outlet in order to work. This requires the voltage lines to be buried along the path where the lights are, and take considerable more time to install. The benefit is you have garden lights that last until you either flip a switch or have a timer that turns them on and off automatically.

Gazebos come in many shapes and sizes and can range in price from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. Everything from a do it yourself type of kit, that you would purchase from a home and garden center, to full on contractor style build another house type. From the small to large, square to octagon, wooden or metal with hard tops or soft these structures allow you to enjoy your yard in a private way and give you the feel of being inside.
